Dear Jane

I have fell in love with this quilt and have decided to give it a try. I know it will probably end up in my unfinished project pile but it will be something to shoot for. I am currently trying to gather the fabrics I will need. I have a brand new plastic container to store all the fabrics and blocks (when finished) in. I already have a few pieces. It's a shame I don't have my grandmothers old shoe box of scraps. I think I'm going to make all the blocks by hand. This will be a plus in that I will be able to work on them anywhere.

Isn't it great to set such high goals. Seems I don't do anything the easy way.

  3. This is a beauty.. I've seen them done up in color schemes which was a true delight to view.. for me that would be a wonder. I know that I would choose reds.. Well washed reds !! Blues would look delightful too like that old delft china.. hmmmm decisions.. but I would certainly choose a color theme.
