Yesterday I dumped out part of them and started sorting them into different piles according to sizes. I'll put the smaller ones back to use for future appliques and I think I'll send the bigger pieces to my daughter. She has a GO and can cut me a bunch of half square triangles. I've been wanting to make a scrap quilt for awhile but don't want to have to cut out all those triangles by hand. Hopefully she won't mind

Ugh, I can't throw stuff away either...thankfully someone was willing to take my scraps...I don't plan to use them...though I create more every time I sew! =)
ReplyDeleteLooks like your daughter will have her work cut out for her. But with her GO! cutter it shouldn't take her any time at all.
ReplyDeleteI save it all too. But I am a scrap quilter and that is my 'meat & potatoes'.
ReplyDeleteDo you need more Mom and I have bunches too.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you have a daughter to share your passion with! Wish one of mine did...I know I would accomplish so much more if I had a 'cheerleader' in the camp! :) I've got a GO but haven't even cut anything with it yet..I did get it to tame the scrap bin, but I hesitate still...:P
