It's Giveaway Day at Sew Mama Sew
I'll be giving away 2 layer cakes
That's 2 packs of 10" squares - 25 in each pack

All you need to do to win these cakes is comment about your favorite type of quilt - it would be nice if you were a follower too but you don't have to be.
And if I happen to increase my followers to over 300 I will add this apron kit.
Good luck on all your entries

ReplyDeleteMy favorite type of quilt is something that is chain pieced. I love to piece and piece and piece over and over again (something like a bunch of half square triangles, broken dishes, flying geese...) Thanks for the second chance to win. LOVE those layer cakses--so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI really like quilts that are simple and that I can finish. I need a pattern to be easy enough for me to understand. I did enjoy the Tossed Pinwheel 9 Patch that I made...from Clover & Violet's tutorial.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win.
Lately I'm really loving scrappy quilts. They're a good way to use a lot of beautiful fabrics and they are so interesting to look at when they're done.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in those squares. Thanks for the opportunity to win!=)
ReplyDeleteI like quilts that I can use pre-cuts with as cutting is not my favourite part. I like them to be traditional and the easier to piece the better!! I already follow you.
ReplyDeleteI love wildly scrappy quilts. I usually make them lap size so I can easily quilt them on my home machine.
ReplyDelete(I am already a follower)

My favorite kind of quilt is usually the one I am working on at the moment. I prefer more complex patterns, applique. But when I try a new pattern, I totally immerse myself in that quilt, including the research of the history behind that block or who is most famous for that kind of look.
ReplyDeleteI really like the cathedral windows quilts, but I also enjy the really modern ones.

you can reach me at supersharmie at gmail dot com :)
My favorite type of quilt is classic designs with a modern twist.
ReplyDeleteI can only King Size... and I just can't get enough. Every time I plan a quilt I have to stop myself not to plan another king size...
ReplyDeleteI love pretty much any quilt made with HST. I love how versatile they are.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm horrible about following patterns exactly, I'd have to say my favorite quilt is one that turns out okay after I "alter" it.
ReplyDeletei love to just play and add, often ending up with some kind of modern quilt in my hands
ReplyDeleteI'm new to quilting, so I like something nice and simple like Log Cabin (which I just happen to be making right now).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite type of quilts are scraps quilts. Thanks for the great giveaway

i love a log cabin design-thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure what you mean by "type of quilt." It's a little vague, but maybe you are referring to size? If so, I'd say a full size quilt. If you mean modern or traditional I'm going to say modern. :) Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI like modern quilts, scrappy modern quilts. What a lovely giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of samplers that display an array of mad quilting skills!
ReplyDeleteI like modern quilts. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeletebeautiful fabrics - I love aqua and yellow :)
ReplyDeleteI love dresden plate quilts - although I still don't have the courage to try one!

ReplyDeleteI love all quilts! But I am really loving string quilts lately...I'm finally going to make one, too! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love the traditional quilts, log cabin, bear paw, and all those. There's something just fascinating about all the history that goes along with the designs.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favorite type. I think they are all beautiful in their own way. But when I make quilts, I tend to go the easy way: 9 patch, or variations of that, rail fence, etc.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower too!
I really love pinwheels, they're simple but they have such impact and movement, and they're so great for baby/kid quilts.
ReplyDeleteI am very very new to quilting, but I am always drawn to ones that have something unique about them.
ReplyDeleteI love many differnt types of quilts, but when i am going to sew one i always stick to the easy and quick patterns... not so much patience to do very difficult things!
ReplyDeleteI'm new toi quilting (just about to finish my second quilt top ever) but I like ones tat are easy but look like they were complex
ReplyDeleteI'm an absolutly newbe to quilting. I love pillowcases and other homedecor, but the peaces should not to be to small for me.
ReplyDeleteI love any quilt that is easy enough for me to do my own thing in - I am hopeless at following a pattern as I always think 'oh I'll just do this instead' and then end up with having to get creative to bring it all together :~)
ReplyDeleteI'm new to quilting so it has to be something simple and "forgiving" since I'm concerned about my measuring and cutting abilities LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance.
