I'm attempting something new for a quilt and I threw these 2 sections together out of scraps to see about what size I might want. The yellow is 2.5 blocks and the other is 1.75. Of course the smaller one would take more time to make but I think I'm leaning a little more toward it. I still don't know for sure yet. And then I need to finish designing the entire quilt. It would be so much easier if I'd just pick a pattern and go with it but nooooooo I have to make things difficult.
Well I like tiny - but I love the color and pattern design in the yellow/brown 2.5" blocks. I think it would hold the integrity of the whole design, where the smaller,darker color will start to meld and lose the pattern to the eye. Sound like mud?
ReplyDeleteI like tiny too but I think the color combination of the small one would look spectacular in the larger size.

ReplyDeleteI am always the odd man out...sorry but I like the bigger ones....you can see it better and you can do some awesome quilting in there....
