I did manage to get my Dresden Plate put together. It sure is nice not going to work - I get alot more accomplished. I do have a little more work to do to it. I think it needs a border to complete it but I can't decide on what to do. I think I will put it aside for awhile until something comes to mind. I could use some help if anyone has any ideas.
Now I need to put my efforts into getting some quilts out.

I think you should extend the background fabric out an inch or two. Then a thin light blue border followed by more of the background fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love it. Why not do it like the border of my log cabin.
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gene - a skinny border of your background so all your plates float. Audition some florals that draw all your hues for a wide border - your background for a binding.
ReplyDeleteWow! Your Dresden Plate looks wonderful. Good job. Sorry, borders are usually a problem for me and I end up just doing very simple strips.
