Burgandy Quilt

I finished the burgandy quilt today. I think my customer will be well pleased.

I was able to use my Martelli quick bind system to do the binding

Had it done in no time. This is such a time saver.
Now I have all my alterations done - all my immediate customers are taken care of, so I can start packing for my trip. I will be leaving on Thursday for 2 weeks.
No more work
no more cooking and cleaning
just driving to see my grandbabies.

Block Swap

I joined a Block Swap in January and these are the blocks I have received so far. I should have 6 blocks but for the life of me I can't find one of my blocks. I don't remember not getting one so it has to be around my sewing room somewhere. I have looked and looked ever since I realized I was one block short and it's nowhere to be found. The way these things usually work when I put all the blocks together and start quilting on it I will need something and go to a drawer and low and behold I will find the block - too late.
Anyway i just thought I would show off my collection so far.

I would like to thank everyone that entered and everyone that follows my blog. I'm not much of a writer - especially lately. I'm trying to get all my orders finished before I go on my trip to Delaware to see my grandbabies (and my daughter). I will be gone for 2 weeks so the posts will be few - but I will be having fun (at least I won't be at work).

My husband got 2 more orders for wallets and I was able to get them made over the weekend (and I finished all my alterations). I have orders for 3 more - Wipee

I will take orders orders through my email (marth@mail.com) but I haven't figured out the payment part. I do have a PayPal account but I have never used it - guess I should figure that out too.

Southern Belle Sue Finished

I finished the Southern Belle Sue today for a customer - Yeah. The front doesn't show the quilting as much as the back. I had a hard time deciding on how to quilt it but I think it turned out rather well.
