Reindeer

I finally got the reindeer quilt top put together.

I still need to add the last border and quilt it.

I'm not as happy with it as I thought I would be.

Maybe after it's quilted.

 

Scrap Lap

I did a quick quilting on this lap quilt a friend made.

For a beginner she is getting pretty good.

 

 

Tidbits

I had totally forgot about entering a quilt in SewCal's Red and White Quilt Challenge

and I received an email that I had won a prize.

 

"Covering America" Pattern, a quilt design that contains 50 state blocks.

How exciting - and I really like the pattern.

Another quilt for my to-do list. At this rate I will need to live forever to get all my to-dos done.

 

I did some playing over the weekend on my quilt 

This is still in the developing stage and this is where I am right now.

I'll pick it up this evening and think on it while I get a few other things done.

 

I also started something for Christmas... 

And another hopefully I'll get it done.

 

 

 

Pinwheels

I threw this together using a couple of charm packs.

Now for some quilting.

I have marked the border with scallops.

I might regret that but I thought it would be a change.
