Southern Belle Sue

OK new project --- I'm getting a good collection of unfinished projects. the thing is I work on each a little here and there ---- at least I don't get bored.

I made this one to see if my customer would like it better than the regular Sunbonnet Sue and figured it would be a starter for another baby quilt. Well she loved it.

So she brought me the fabric to make hers and this is the 1st one. I'll take it to show her tomorrow and I bet I get another hug. The dark pink fabric is from a shirt belonging to her father-in-law and she wants a piece of it on each Sue.

I'm going to have fun with this one. Now I need to get the quilt that's in the frame out so I'll be able to get to this one. I'm also piecing one for another customer and hope to have it all pieced by Monday

Those are too too cute! Since I have no projects (yeah, right) I must find the Sues and make some.

Margaret what can I trade you or pay you to do some of those for me? I just love them.....do I need to beg?

These are just lovely and I like the idea of adding 'heirloom' fabrics to a quilt - it adds meanings and special hugs.

I love those. Is that machine embroidery applique? If so, I would love to know where you got the designs.

Margaret,
You have no idea how much this means to me and my family. I could not have picked a better person to do this quilt for my Lydia. This will be the gift of a lifetime. Thank you for being so kind to do this and for working with me on this.

Love,
Heather
