Like most of us I too have a big pile of scraps. I've been collecting for years not knowing what I'd do with them but not being able to throw them away either. Now that I have my embroidery machine I've been using them for the appliques.
Yesterday I dumped out part of them and started sorting them into different piles according to sizes. I'll put the smaller ones back to use for future appliques and I think I'll send the bigger pieces to my daughter. She has a GO and can cut me a bunch of half square triangles. I've been wanting to make a scrap quilt for awhile but don't want to have to cut out all those triangles by hand. Hopefully she won't mind

Ugh, I can't throw stuff away either...thankfully someone was willing to take my scraps...I don't plan to use them...though I create more every time I sew! =)
Looks like your daughter will have her work cut out for her. But with her GO! cutter it shouldn't take her any time at all.
I save it all too. But I am a scrap quilter and that is my 'meat & potatoes'.
Do you need more Mom and I have bunches too.
So happy you have a daughter to share your passion with! Wish one of mine did...I know I would accomplish so much more if I had a 'cheerleader' in the camp! :) I've got a GO but haven't even cut anything with it yet..I did get it to tame the scrap bin, but I hesitate still...:P
