Elaine's Quilt

It's been awhile.
I've actually been very busy but not with anything I can show here.
I have cut out about 5 quilts and have a few more that I would like to get to.

I have a good friend (who is 84) that put this quilt together and I finally got it quilted.

She has never used a rotary cutter before so I cut the strips then cut the strips into pieces so she just dealt with piecing.
So when I was trimming the quilt for the binding I almost took off my finger - I think it went to the bone. My daughter used 2 butterflies so I wouldn't have to get stitches.

Oh Margaret! I am so sorry as I know how painful that can be! Praying it heals quickly and your friends quilt is amazing!

The quilt looks great, but that finger looks painful. Be careful, lady!

Oh that isn't good, I burned my arm ironing quilt block pieces a couple of days ago. Stupid mistakes.
