I had some left over fabric from a stack-n-whack and I needed to make a baby quilt for Christmas so I figured it would be perfect.
But things got out of hand - as usual.
Since I don't have a design wall I just sat on the floor and started playing with a bunch of different pieces...and I came up with this
I started on a small scale trying a few different things ...
I have it put together to this point but need to decide what I want to do from here.
I have a few ideas but will have to put it aside for awhile and get some other things done.
I am really impressed with how well it has all gone together so far (notice I said so far).
I think these are the best stacks I've ever done - all the points and seams are perfect.
Still need a baby quilt done for Christmas.

What a pretty setting for these blocks. I've never done a stack-n-whack.
Those are GORGEOUS!!!! I love how they are turning out.
Margaret, these are really gorgeous. I have never done this type of quilt before, but I am always amazed at the design that shows up. It is so awesome.
