Log Cabin

I loaded this log cabin in the frame last week. This is my 1st log cabin to quilt. Seems like I've had a lot of 1sts lately. Anyway it took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to qult it.

 Looks like this is becoming my signature border.
 I drew this out and figured it might work.
The backing is brown so I used brown thread.
 Here's another shot. Would be nice if both sides matched up better.
I think the overall will look good (hope so anyway)

that looks awesome! WOW on the feathers.... how long have you quilted? you sure learned and MASTERED feathers!! how about straight lines- UGH ruler work on the dark parts of the log cabins? I've done that before and it will really set off the feathers! whatever you decide it will look awesome!!
