Portable Backdrop Stand

I am so thrilled - my husband found a Portable Backdrop Stand on craigslist yesterday.
I have been telling him for a few years now that I wanted one.
Maybe now I will be able to take better pictures of my quilts.
I finished the ladybug quilt and gave it the honor of being the 1st on the stand.

Another Ladybug

I hadn't realized how long it has been since I posted anything.
It would be nice if I had more to show for my time but I don't.

Anyway I finally got my second cabinet finished.
The one on the right was the 1st one I made and had a few issues. It looks good and works nicely but I don't like mistakes. (You would think I wouldn't mind them so much considering how many I make) Anyway I'm giving that one to my sister.
And my sweet husband cut the wood for me another one over the weekend.
That means more sanding, painting and drilling. Sewing is so much easier on my hands.

Here is my youngest with her 2 boys.
The one in the middle turned 3 last Friday.

Now, for what I've been working on.
I was asked to make another ladybug quilt and this is what I came up with.
It has been in the frame for 3 weeks. But since I spent most of my time playing with wood I didn't get it out as quickly as I would have liked.

I took the pictures in a hurry and you can't see the quilting as well as I would like.
After I get the binding on I will take some more.

I put her name on the bottom too.
I do believe this is a little girl quilt.

Lady Bug Finished

I finally finished the ladybug quilt. I took it out of the frame a month ago and haven't had time to put the binding on.
Now it's done.
I love it when I finish one and I can stand back and see how it turned out.
I usually stress over all the mishaps as I'm quilting but I didn't have any with this one.

Don't forget to enter my GIVEWAY it ends Friday.

Lady Bugs are Done

I finished my Lady Bug quilt on Friday - put the binding on Saturday and now it's just a matter of time before my customer picks it up.
I really wasn't happy with the way it was quilting out - or should I say the way I was quilting it out.
(But I guess that's an old song of mine.)
Anyway after I took it out of the fame and bound it I was much happier with it.
I used the piping on the binding again and I really like that technique.
Now on to other things.
I cleaned my areas over the weekend and I'm all ready to finish another something.
Now just deciding on which something.

Ladybugs and Giveaway Winner

This is my work in progress (one of them anyway). I've been working on it off and on for  awhile now. I still have 2 more spaces to fill and to attach the borders. I have them put together so that's a plus.

And now for the Winner of my Giveaway. The winner by the random number generator was #53
