I received my March block (Block Swap) in the mail the other day. It is so nice to get a new square every month. I'm a little lax in getting mine out but I have been making the deadline by the barest.
One of the hardest things is trying to figure out what someone else would like and how it will go with the other blocks they have. Then I worry about if it will be good enough. I spend so much time worrying about my abilities and I need to quit that. I know I'm not perfect but that doesn't stop me from wanting to be.

Love that yellow print fabric. Good for you in being in a block swap - I haven't done one of those for the same fears, meeting someone else's wants. But, I think we are all that way - maybe next year that will be my new venture.
It is pretty nerve racking...and well.....in my eyes you are perfect!
Great block. I think we all have those fears but try to put them aside and just create. I haven't received a bad square yet. They may not all be perfect (and can say what perfection is anyway) but they are all beautiful. Enjoy the process and I'm sure the receiver will be thrilled.
It is a great block. I am sure that we all have the same worries.
Very nice block. You shouldn't worry, you do a good job. Just use good fabric, starch, iron and most blocks look great.
Great block and I love mine! I'm totally in the same boat as you are getting frozen in fear that it will be good enough. Thats part of the reason I joined the swap to challenge myself. Happy sewing! -Josceln
