What to do?????????????
I read other blogs and see how much stuff other people get done and I get so frustrated.
I try to do, but don't seem to get much accomplished. My TO - DO list just seems to be getting longer and longer. And the longer it gets the less I want to do.
My TO -DO list:
I just listed 20 things and deleted them -no need to show
Where do I start --------------or do I just say forget it and go into the sewing room.

Instead of making a list that scares you into doing nothing - NO list. Just decide on 1 sewing thing - even if only for 15 mins. - and 1 just for ME time (read a book, watch a movie, soak in the tub). Sometimes it is the slowest day that feels like the most accomplished.
Just pick one thing and enjoy a few minutes in the sewing room. There is no pressure to get anything DONE! There is only supposed to be a few minutes of enjoyment in the sewing room. Gosh, even if it is time spent fondling your fabric putting it in order... it is better than Jury Duty :)
When I first started reading quilt blogs, I noticed that, too. People who seem to whip out a quilt a day. Ditch the list & grab the fabric. Spend a few minutes at the sewing machine or cutting mat. And have some fun :)
Next time just visit my blog. I'm very slow. I'm sure you'll feel like a speed demon afterwards. ha! I've definitely been there! I'm still trying to figure out how there are people out there that always seem to have a clean house.
List them...I want to see....
The grass always looks greener on the other side. I don't think we get anymore done than you maybe less. Just take a deep breathe and do something fun.
Okay somebody correct me if I'm wrong...but I see a ton of smaller quilts getting done. I'm not a smaller quilt person. My quilts (all three of them) have got to be big, to cover the big people in my life. Lets start checking the sizes of those finished quilts?? What do ya think?
