Another sample

I decided to go ahead and put a few pieces together to see what color I wanted to go around the squares. I made these 2 inch squares and I think they are still a little to big - maybe 1/4 of an inch. I think I like the middle yellow and the dark green the best. Once I get going and take my time it will look like catherdal windows. I think I need to make another design. My poor head hurts trying to think of someting that will be great.

Oh I love them all! The yellow/green is also my favorite. Love the swirl in the middle of the circle.

I did think of Cathedral Windows when I saw these. I cannot tell if the part around the central circle is a textured portion or just a pieced section. It sure looks like a difficult pattern to make. I think it is fantastic!

Hi Margaret,

I always thought that if I will ever make a Cathedral Windows quilt I will make it with kaleidoscope blocks. I am glad I can see here how it looks like !
