Embrodery dolls

I made this quilt 30 years ago and never finished it. It took 6 months to do the embrodery. There's still 2 of those that need finishing. When I quilted it I used a blanket for the batting and have never been happy with it so I'm taking it apart to do it right. I have another one that has been on the back burner for years - it is flowers of the month. It will be a little harder to do the hand embrodery now that I have my embrodery machine

Oh, these are just too sweet! I am so glad you have pulled them out to give them a finish. A true treasure.

OMG, what a great re-find...isn't it fun to look back on what we've done? Good for you with the requilting and all but I know what you mean about new technology...it will be hard to do it by hand. Good luck.

Those are so cute. I know how hard it will be for you to sit and hand sew the other one since your new machine.

wow that was a lot of work. I started a baby quilt for Sam that I never finished embriodering, but I don't think I will.
